Oconee's Top 20 Under 40 recognizes outstanding professionals from our community! Nominate an individual under the age of 40 who demonstrates values and commitment professionally. The individual must work and live in Oconee County to be eligible. Nominees chosen will be honored at an event in August.

Requirements are:

  • Under the age of 40 as of August 10 of the program year
  • Oconee resident and employed in Oconee County for at least the last 3 years.  Nominees do not have to be employed with the same company for the three years, but must be employed in the same field, industry or type of business for three years.

If you are uncertain if a nominee meets the above criteria, we encourage you to submit the nomination anyway.  We will verify eligibility with the nominees prior to their consideration of an award.

Please note, nominating the same person more than once or having multiple people nominate the same person does not increase their odds of winning.  Candidates are judged on their merit and qualifications regardless of the number of times they were nominated.   Candidates chosen to receive the 2019 Oconee Top 20 Under 40 will be recognized at an event in August and will be listed in a special publication.

If you have any questions about this nomination form, please call 882-2097.

Please note, any information included in the application may be used in a profile that will be published online, in a printed brochure and inside a feature article in the next Chamber Magazine. We will not get approval on these editorial profiles before they are published, so please do not include any information in your application that you are not comfortable having appear in print.

Nominations are closed until 2020.
