    CHAMBER EXCHANGE:  "Let's Talk"

    Friday, November 9-  8:30

Oconee Chamber of Commerce Training Room

     2 Leas Courtyard Drive, Seneca

Please join us for a group discussion on our topic of the month, “Being Intentional.” This is a peer-driven learning initiative so we are depending on each to be prepared to share insights of value. So, we want you to be prepared to share your insight through your experience on the topic of the month. Come ready to share your thoughts on “Being Intentional” as a business leader. In addition, be prepared to practice active listening by really digesting what is offered by others rather than thinking of your response while hearing the opinion of others. Be a rabbit (all ears).

Background:  Being intentional means you are purposeful in word and action.  It means you live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling to you.  It means you make thoughtful choices in your life.  Being intentional means you actively interact and engage with your life.  In addition, being intentional with building your business means you proactively seek to shape your situation rather than being a reactive leader.

Our Premise:  Being intentional in building your business is a choice that can become a vital part of your organization's culture if you make it so!

This is free to our members but space is limited.  Registration is required so register here or call 864-882-2097.

Ricky Skaggs is a 15 time GRAMMY Award-winner whose career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history.  If Skaggs' burgeoning trophy case full of awards wasn't already enough evidence of that fact, consider that the legendary guitarist Chat Atkins once credited him with "single-handedly saving country music".  His life's path has taken him to various musical genres and artistic journeys, while still leaving his bluegrass roots intact.  Skaggs struck his first chords on a mandolin more than 50 years ago and he continues to do his part to lead the roots revival in music.  His passion puts him in the position to bring the lively, distinctively American form of music into the ears and hearts of audiences across the country and around the world.
