    In continued celebration of our Sesquicentennial, we'll hear from Retired Clemson Extension Agent Mr. Dean Boggs, as he shares how Agriculture has changed over the years.  We'll also have The Oconee Cultivation Project talk about how they are changing lives of young Oconeeans through mentoring programs including culinary and agricultural practices.

    We'll have an auction during the event that will benefit The Oconee Cultivation Project.


    Tickets for the event are $30 per person.  

    A portion of the proceeds benefits our FFA Scholarship.

    The Walhalla community honors its German heritage with the celebration of Oktoberfest. With two venues to enjoy, there will be plenty of fun for everyone.  Oktoberfest on Main Street will begin Friday, October 19 at 11 am and run until 7 pm and Saturday, October 20 from 9 am to 6 pm.  

    There will be traditional music, arts, crafts and lots of food.  


    Oktoberfest Main Street Vendor Terms & Requirements:

    Main Street will begin Friday, October 19 at 11 and run until 7 pm. Saturday will begin at 9 and run until 6 pm. VENDORS MUST STAY UNTIL CLOSING BOTH DAYS.


    Information regarding booth location and set up procedures will be emailed to vendors within two weeks prior to the event.  PLEASE provide your email address.


    NO VEHICLE TRAFFIC WILL BE PERMITTED WITHIN THE VENUE AREA OF MAIN ST. AT ANY TIME UNTIL THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE OR WALHALLA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT GIVES THE ALL CLEAR.  Vendor owned items must be transported to and from your parked vehicle by dollie or by foot.

    Art, craft and food vendors are currently being accepted. Deadline for arts, crafts and food application is September 30, 2018.

    Enjoy experimenting with this fantastic art form and its beautiful, functional end product! Fused Glass is the process of layering bits and pieces of colored glass on top of each other. Then we will fire them in the kiln and they will melt into one design. Create two pieces, and choose if you'd like them to be Ornaments, earrings, keychains, pendants, or magnets. We will work with clay to make ornaments and hand paint rolls of wrapping paper and gift bags. This is a drop in event between 1-5pm. Ornaments will be left here to fire and can be picked up between December 6th and 20th. Remember that if the dates don't work for you, you can always schedule a private event!

    Vintage 1985 Chinese Rug with proceeds go to the preservation of the Historic Ballenger House.  8.5' x 5' with fringe.  Primary color is cobalt blue, secondary colors are moss green, dusty rose, gold and cream.  It is a Peacock and songbirds motif.

    Guy Penrod is one of the most in-demand touring artists in Christian music.  A vocal powerhouse, Penrod travels throughout the U.S. & abroad in addition to making multiple media appearances.  Penrod's music has been applauded in the Gospel as well as country formats.  He has appeared on "The Grand Ole Opry" and numerous country recordings.  His Hymns recording, debuted at #1 on the Southern Gospel retail chart and became the top-selling Southern Gospel in 2012.  In 2011, he became Texas gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, and was inducted alongside the Gaither Vocal Band into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

    Enjoy experimenting with this fantastic art form and its beautiful, functional end product! Fused Glass is the process of layering bits and pieces of colored glass on top of each other. Then we will fire them in the kiln and they will melt into one design.
