Which foods are known as brain foods? Which foods give you energy? Which foods help lower blood pressure?

Learn the answers to these questions and more during this informative class. This class will help you know how to choose your foods wisely as you are seeking to live a more healthy, abundant life.

The Kitchen Medicine class will not take the place of your doctor, health coach or dietitian. It will not have diets broken down for different illnesses. In the class you will learn that our foods have nutrients that contribute to our health. Let’s work together to get back to “whole food” nutrition and decrease the downward spiral of health decline in our community.

Ricky Skaggs is a 15 time GRAMMY Award-winner whose career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history.  If Skaggs' burgeoning trophy case full of awards wasn't already enough evidence of that fact, consider that the legendary guitarist Chat Atkins once credited him with "single-handedly saving country music".  His life's path has taken him to various musical genres and artistic journeys, while still leaving his bluegrass roots intact.  Skaggs struck his first chords on a mandolin more than 50 years ago and he continues to do his part to lead the roots revival in music.  His passion puts him in the position to bring the lively, distinctively American form of music into the ears and hearts of audiences across the country and around the world.

May is Foster Care Awareness Month

It’s our honor to share information about the process of becoming a licensed foster parent, as well as how the church and community can play a very important role in serving foster families. Is anyone in your church or community expressed the call to foster? Do you or someone you know have skills, talents or resources that could benefit those families who are serving through fostering? Then, allow us an opportunity to tell you about how you could join our fostering community! We are excited to use this time to share with you about our program and how we can continue to partner together to serve the families in your community.

To contact us with any questions, please reach out to Amaris Gibson at (864) 944-1390 ext. 123 or email at fostercare@tdarschool.org or simply check out our website at www.tdarschool.org.

Theirs is one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry. The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of Country hits and a Number One Pop smash, earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA, and ACM awards and garnered a host of other industry and fan accolades. Every time they step before an audience, the Oaks bring four decades of charted singles, and 50 years of tradition, to a stage show widely acknowledged as among the most exciting anywhere. And each remains as enthusiastic about the process as they have ever been.
