    Lee Greenwood is an ICON in country music, with more than 30 albums to his credit. In fact, MCA released an album in 2013 called ICON. 

    With seven #1 songs & 25 charted singles his hits include: “It Turns Me Inside Out”, “Ring On Her Finger Time on Her Hands”, ”She’s Lyin”, “I don’t Mind the Thorns if You’re the Rose”, “Dixie Road”, “Somebody’s Gonna Love You”, “Going Going Gone”, “You Got A Good Love Comin”, “Fools Gold”, and “Mornin Ride”. Several cross over hits include, “Touch & Go Crazy”, “IOU” and the duet with Barbara Mandrell, “To Me”. An additional duet with Suzie Boggus, “Hopelessly Yours”, was nominated for a Grammy.     Every year, Walhalla celebrates its German heritage at Oktoberfest. With arts, crafts, great food and drink on Main Street and Sertoma Field at Highway 183, it’s one fun-filled event, but  with two great venues.


    Join us for Oktoberfest on Main Street 2019 on Friday, October 18th and Saturday 19th.

    Browse the many booths of handmade crafts, stunning artworks, delicious baked goods and traditional fun foods, including funnel cakes, caramel corn, deep-fried treats, brats, kraut, and much, much more. For the kids there will be face painting and craft-making.

    Music and entertainment will be provided by “Just-Call-Ben”, who will have you dancing in the street with classic oldies, today’s hits and Oktoberfest specials.


    Our schedule will be Friday from 11AM to 7PM and Saturday from 9AM to 6PM.

    MAIN STREET VENDOR INFORMATION


    Oktoberfest Main Street Vendor Terms & Requirements:

    Main Street will begin Friday, October 18 at 11 and run until 7 pm. Saturday will begin at 9 and run until 6 pm. VENDORS MUST STAY UNTIL CLOSING BOTH DAYS.


    Information regarding booth location and set up procedures will be emailed to vendors within two weeks prior to the event.  PLEASE provide your email address.


    NO VEHICLE TRAFFIC WILL BE PERMITTED WITHIN THE VENUE AREA OF MAIN ST. AT ANY TIME UNTIL THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE OR WALHALLA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT GIVES THE ALL CLEAR.  Vendor owned items must be transported to and from your parked vehicle by dollie or by foot.

    Art, craft and food vendors are currently being accepted online. Deadline for arts, crafts and food applications with payment by check is September 30, 2019.

    Electricity is available for vendors but you must specify the need on your application.  SORRY, ONLY QUIET GENERATORS ALLOWED.

    Fortune sang tenor for the Statler Brothers for 21 years, and wrote several number one songs that were recorded by the Statler Brothers, including Elizabeth, Too Much on My Heart, and My Only Love.   After the Statler Brothers retired in 2002, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans. His first solo CD, When One Door Closes, was released August 2003. He released a gospel album, I Believe, in June 2005, a Christmas CD, Feels Like Christmas, in 2006, a live concert DVD in 2007 a country CD, “Windows” in 2009, “Lessons” in 2012, and “Hits and Hymns” CD and DVD through Spring.
